This die cast metal car and trailer set were a 1960's product of Midgetoy. It's still with it's Dime Store Rack Display Card & Box! The mustang is 2 ¾ inches long, bumper to trailer hitch. It is Mustang Green with silver features like bumpers and headlight assembly, black tires and special details like the air scoops.

It is one of very few die cast cars with a ball trailer hitch. The trailer is yellow, has a slightly wider wheelbase and is 1 ½ inches long with a ¾ by 1 inch payload area. They snap together and apart easily.

The set comes in it's original dime store rack card box. The card is 6 ½ inches high, and 4 ½ inches wide. The integrally attached box is 1 ¼ inch wide. It is marked 49¢. No zip code, no bar code. This is strictly 1960's! The box has fantastic graphics of the Midgetoy elves and the characteristics of the 1960's era. The trailer has a few minor patina flecks. Minor surface rust on the axels, otherwise the Mustang is in Perfect Condition. They come in green or blue.

The Box is in Perfect Unused Condition. We found a few sets in a box in an old toy distributors warehouse. Two are shown in the Photo. They come in green or blue. You get it all!
