Exquisite selection of catsup bottle and jar labels, 7 of them have real Gold Flake Gilded Ink. They are from before the turn of the century thru the 1920's. Below is a close-up of a label from John Blaul's Sons Co. Burlington and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They were an 1800's and 1900's regional grocery distributor, who brought in groceries in large quantities on the Mississippi River and repackaged goods in their own brand boxes & bottles and distributed them to Ma & Pa grocers, and sent them Out West, for settlers and railroad towns in the expanding frontier. This exceptional 1910's label features an Ocean Liner at sea, called Liner Brand, one of Blaul's Sons brands for Catsup, Coffee, Tea, and other groceries. 1 gallon size. Liberal use of gilded ink!

Exceptional graphics of a red rose. Packed by Brighton Canning Co., Brighton, Iowa. 6. Jonathan Brand Food Products. Picture of a long haired Quaker in a wide brim hat. Packed for John F. Kelly Company, Davenport, Iowa. 7. Temptation Catsup, shield shaped die cut, extraordinary trademark of the globe, topped with a large golden eagle with wings spread, and flanked by a steamship and a railroad locomotive says, Established 1858. 7 oz. size, The James McCoy Co. Distributors, Peoria, ILL. This is a rare turn-of-the-century label. Liberal use of gilded ink. 8. Hamill's Olive Branch brand. Gilded ink small label with a blank for products name. These were customized for various products. Put out by S. Hamill Company, Keokuk, Iowa. Beautiful turn-of-the-century label. 9. Little Dutch Catsup. 14 oz. Trapezoid shaped. Nice graphics of a Dutch Boy and Girl. Raymond Bros. Clarke Co. Lincoln, Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
