1890's Tea Box LabelYacht Club Yellow Label Ceylon & Java & India TeasThis rare box label wraps around all four sides of a box 2 inches square and 2 ¼ inches high. Called Yellow Label Yacht Club Tea. This label features Bamboo framing and an old fashioned tea pot with the word delicious on it. That is the trademark for New Orleans Import Company, Ltd., a major Asian and far East tea importer in the 1800's.

It describes the tea thus; A Blend of Very Fine Teas selected with great care by experts out of our importation from Ceylon, Java and India. We recommend this tea for the use of critical tea drinkers who will be pleased with the fine flavor and great strength. Contents, 1 ½ ounces. Red printing on a yellow label, 9 inches wide and 2 ¼ inches high. A small box of old tea labels were found at an old Chicago Distributors warehouse demolished years ago.
