This century old tea label is from the boxes of tea featured at the Ceylon Tea Pavilion at the Chicago's World Fair, the Great 1893 Exhibition. Red printing on a yellow label, 3 ¼ inches square with clipped corners. A small box of old tea labels were found at an old Chicago Distributors warehouse demolished years ago.

This label features Bamboo framing and an old fashioned tea pot with the word delicious on it. That is the trademark for New Orleans Import Company, Ltd., a major India tea importer in the late 1800's. It is unused and in Perfect Condition. A rare find for the Ceylon collectors.

This exceptional historic tea label was used on tea boxes sold and promoted in the Ceylon Tea Pavilion at the Great 1893 Columbian Exhibition at the Chicago's Worlds Fair. The worlds leaders in teas that were promoted at the Pekoe ~ Ceylon Tea Pavilion, at the Worlds Columbian Exhibition ~ Chicago's World Fair in 1893 when Tea and Coffee drinking was reserved for the elite. Historic framing set.
