Johnny Parsons Round Nose Curtis
Kraft
Open Indy Style Race Car
Die Cast Toy ~ 1950's in Store Package
This exceptional die cast toy race car
is 3 inches long. Made by Midgetoy. This is a scale
replica of the last round nose open race cars used at the
Indy 500 referred to as a Curtis Kraft. This was an exact
model of Johnny Parsons winning car in 1950. The
following year, they all drove the new "slant
nose" model racers. Midgetoy catalogs show this toy
was available from 1950 through 1956. The tag is dated
1954. Sharp, three color details! Orange body with silver
and black features.
