Dad's Root Beer Barrel Style Glass Mug This relic of the 1960's is heavy solid glass. It weighs just over 2 Lbs. Comfortable 4 finger handle! The features cast into the glass make it look like a Dad's Root Beer Barrel. The wood planks and the riveted bands, and of course the Dad's Logo on each side. The glass mug is part of Root Beer History! This one was part of a promotion in the early 1960's to take on the Root Beer mug kings, A&W. This mug was supplied to small cafes, restaurants and eateries who served Dad's Root Beer. We found a small box of them in an old closed up soda fountain Drive-in. Unused, Perfect Condition.
