1949 Red Cadillac Die Cast Convertible in Dime Store Bag & Tag marked 10¢. This sharp die cast metal car is 3 ½ inches long. Exceptional 3 color painted details. This 49 Cadillac Convertible toy car was a popular seller in the 1950’s. The taillights, silver bumpers and grille bring out the distinctive Cadillac features.
This toy was made by Midgetoy, Rockford, ILL. The toy comes in a cellophane bag with a top tag stapled on. The top tag is bedecked with the Midgetoy elves, and says, Junior Size Cadillac Convertible, and is marked 10¢. It is dated ©1954. We found a few boxes of toys like these in an old dime store distributors warehouse.
