This set of 4 crate labels are from the 1950’s Florida Citrus Growers Association. Exciting graphics. One called “Sky King” has a colorful duck and duck hunter in a swamp full of cat-o-nine tails. Here is a close-up of the colorful duck.

 
“Pheasant” has a Phenomenal picture of a strutting Pheasant. “Air-Flow’ features a streamlined diesel passenger train and “Breakfast Belle” Highlights a Negro Maid serving up a southern style Breakfast on a fancy set table with a bouquet of fresh flowers and plates with half of a Grapefruit.

These labels are 9 inches wide and from 3 to 3 ½ inches high. They are colorful reminders of an advertising world before Zip Codes. You get all 4 labels for one money.

These are the last of an era before Zip Codes and Bar codes.
