This colorful 1950’s advertising tin is litho’ed in Red, Black & White. It is 3 inches in diameter and an inch thick. The lid is slightly domed, and has a heavy waxed cardboard liner inside. The bottom piece is all shiny reflective plated inside and out with the instructions on the bottom. It says, Manufactured by Flash Sales Co. Inc., Cambridge 42, Mass. Well-designed graphics, attractive to the eye. Twist lock fastening features. The product was a waterless hand cleaner containing Lanolin and Hexachlorophene, a dangerous, highly volatile mixture that could explode if lit. Maybe that’s why they called it Flash! It held 1 ¾ Fluid Ounces of the stuff. It’s empty and never been used. Well Over a Half Century Old!No oxidation, no rust, no fogging, no dings, no scratches. Perfect Unused Condition.
