Program and Trotting Form Cover


This 1950 Horse Trotter gambling relic has sharp graphics of a Trotter and rider on the cover. The cover says, Official Program and Trotting Form. Lexington Trots Breeders Association, Lexington Kentucky. It has a heart around a map of Lexington highlighting the location of the various horse farms. Walnut Hall Stud, Walnut Hall Farm, Poplar Hill Farm, Castleton Farm, Almahurst Farm and Gainesway Farm. All this is superimposed with an exceptional drawing of a trotter in a race.

 

The rear side has a unique full page ad for Old Forester Whisky. Folded it is 5 ½ by 7 ½ inches. Opened up it is 5 ½ inches by 15 ¼ inches. The inside lists the Race officials, and officials of the Lexington Trots Breeder Association.

There is also a whole page of Horse Race Gambling Rules, including rules regarding bookmaking, wagering, etc. It is dated 1950 and sold for 25¢. This was the covering only, for the daily program and wagering forms for the horse races (none included). Sharp framable! Perfect Condition.
