Historic Taste Test Paper Cup

1960's Pepsi Challenge

The Cola's War

Pepsi-Cola & Sweetheart Cup~ Baltimore

This Paper waxed cup was made by Sweetheart Cup of Baltimore. These were used in the highly publicized 1960's ad campaign when Pepsi wanted to take more market share out of Coke's hide! They created a Pepsi Challenge taste test against Coke in major markets across the country. They set up booths at Malls, Fairs, etc. and serve the 2 Colas side by side. Referred to in history as the Cola's War!

This is the paper cup they used for both products. A nice piece of Pepsi's history. It is 4 ½ inches high and 3 inches across at the top rim. It has the Pepsi Logo prominently displayed along with the Pepsi Challenge text. It is printed on both sides. There are not many of these around. It is a scarce Pepsi item. Perfect Condition. We pack it securely and mail it to you First Class U.S. Postal.
