John Deere Model A "Unstyled" Steel Wheels Farm Tractor
The John Deere Model A was introduced in 1934 and made through 1952. It established some engineering firsts that became industry standards. Among them the adjustable wheel cleat, the one piece transmission case and it had the highest under axle clearance. Farmers welcomed the A and its variations, and it was the recognized Work horse of Mechanical farming. The Model A was the most popular tractor in the company history.
