Old Steam Locomotive ~ William Crooks Die Cast Train Set On Dime Store Display Card This train set is called the Train that Won the West. It is a 4 piece set. The Steam Locomotive was called the William Crooks. It has the flared out funnel shaped stack and the front mounted lantern headlamp. Highly detailed die cast features painted in 3 colors. 
See Photos Below The train also includes the old fashioned coal tender, a Baggage car and a passenger car, both with observation decks at each end! Meticulous recreation of all the fine detail expected in a train from this era.  All 4 pieces are blister mounted to a Dime Store display card with illustrations of the western environment of the late 1800’s. All the vehicles have rolling rubber wheels. The set is highly sought after by collectors because Midgetoy just didn’t make that many of them. It is a very unique die cast set.
