This paper placemat is from the early 1960's. Used by Drive-Ins and Soda Fountains that catered to the after game crowd. Used for both high school and college towns. It has an exceptional photo of a basketball player and a cheerleader each holding a paper cup of Pepsi, with space along each side for the proprietor to print their menu items! All along the length of the bottom edge, there are 19 Referee hand signals illustrated and what they mean is explained.

16 inches wide by 11 inches high. The back is also printed with half blank and half with distinctive basketball graphics.
